What we do most weeks
Old fuse boxes swapped for an RCBO board, with the certificate your insurer and any future buyer will ask to see.
Breakers that trip for no obvious reason. Charged by the hour, and we tell you the likely cost before starting.
Room by room if you are living in it, whole house if you are not. Dust sheets and clean-up included.
The job most people put off for years. Usually half a day and less mess than expected.
Condition reports for landlords, with the remedial work itemised separately so you can shop around.
Weatherproof sockets, garden lighting, supplies to sheds and garden offices, dug in properly.
How we quote
- We come and look first
- Photographs from a phone hide the things that change the price. The visit is free and takes twenty minutes.
- The price is the price
- Written, itemised, and it does not move unless you change the job or we open a wall and find something genuinely unforeseeable. If that happens, work stops and we ring you.
- You get the paperwork
- Certificates issued within a week, and building control notified where the job needs it. You should not have to ask twice for this.
If it is a job that will take under an hour, say so when you ring. We keep two slots a week for small work, because otherwise it never gets done.
